Itinerary:

Arrival in Lima: Transfer and hotel in Lima.

Lima – Huaraz (3,100 m): Transportation by scheduled tourist bus. During the trip, a maximum altitude of 4,070 m is reached at the Conococha pass. Transfer to the hotel. (B)

Huaraz: Acclimatization near Huaraz. Short hike to Willcacocha lagoon (3,700 m) in the Cordillera Negra. Night at “Eco Camp Lodge Willcacocha” (3,700 m). (B, BL, D)

Huaraz: Acclimatization. Tour to Pastoruri glacier (5,230 m). Short walk along the “Climate Change Route”. Return to Huaraz. Hotel. (B, L, BL, D)

Huaraz – Llanganuco – Vaqueria – Huaripampa (3,700 m): Departure by private vehicle to the Llanganuco lagoons and then to Vaqueria. Start of the hike towards the Huaripampa valley. Camp. (B, BL, D)

Huaripampa – Punta Union Pass (4,700 m) – Taullipampa (4,300 m): Hike from the camp in Huaripampa towards the Punta Union pass. Descent through the Santa Cruz valley to the camp in Taullipampa. (B, BL, D)

Taullipampa – Llamacorral (3,700 m): Hike to the Alpamayo Peak viewpoint via the south face. Continuation through the Santa Cruz valley to the camp in Llamacorral. (B, L, D)

Llamacorral – Cashapampa – Huaraz: Hike to Cashapampa. Transportation back to Huaraz. Hotel. (B, L, D)

Huaraz – Lima: Transfer by scheduled bus to Lima. Hotel. (B)

Lima: Outbound transfer to the airport. International flight.

The program includes:

• Transfers and Accommodation:
  • All transfers (inbound and outbound) in Lima and Huaraz.
  • Accommodation in hotels in Lima and Huaraz, according to the program, in double rooms with private bathrooms.
  • Private transportation to and from the trek starting point.
• Permits and Personnel:
  • All entrance fees and permits corresponding to the Huascaran National Park.
  • Certified English-speaking guide.
  • Specialized cook and assistants (depending on group size).
  • Muleteers and pack animals necessary for logistics.
• Meals and Equipment:
  • Meals detailed in the program: B (breakfast), L or BL (lunch or box lunch) and D (dinner).
  • Full camping equipment: personal tent (one per passenger), dining tent, kitchen tent, toilet tent, and kitchen utensils.
• Safety:
  • First aid kit and portable hyperbaric chamber.
  • Biosafety and health protocols.

The program does not include:

• Domestic and international flights.
• Airport taxes.
• Extra expenses.
