Arrival in Lima: Transfer and hotel in Lima. Or flight to Anta airport. Transfer to Huaraz. Installation in your hotel and afternoon to get to know the city and adapt to the altitude. Hotel in Huaraz.

Lima – Huaraz (3,100 m): Transportation by scheduled bus. During the trip, a maximum altitude of 4,070 m is reached at the Conococha pass. Huaraz, “Capital of International Friendship” and considered the “Chamonix of the Andes,” will be our operations center for mountain tours. Transfer and hotel in Huaraz. In case you arrived in Huaraz by flight, this day would be the first acclimatization day, Hike to Radian lagoon (3,900 m). Hotel in Huaraz. (B)

Trekking to the Cordillera Negra, our first objective is to reach the Willcacocha Lagoon Viewpoint: Departure from Huaraz at 9 am by vehicle to the Santa Cruz Bridge (3,160 m). Start of the walk on the ancestral path towards the village of Santa Cruz, an old main road to the coast. 2h30 hike to Willcacocha Lagoon (3,700 m). Lunch and accommodation at “Eco Camp & Lodge Willcacocha” (3,750 m). Afternoon to walk to a viewpoint and appreciate the sunset and native birds. (B, BL, D)

Exploration trekking to the Huayin Inca ruins (4,090 m) in the Cordillera Negra. 4-hour hike (5 km round trip) from the lodge. Night at the lodge. (B, BL, D)

Churup Lagoon: Breakfast in Willcacocha and with a private bus we return to Huaraz and continue to our starting point for today’s walk, which is Pitec. Start of the hike on a well-marked path until reaching Churup Lagoon (4,400 m). We will have enough time for enjoyment and photography. In the afternoon, return to Huaraz and the hotel. (B, BL, -)

Huaraz: Free day and rest in the city. Intended to visit the Monterrey hot springs. Afternoon to prepare luggage for the Santa Cruz trek. Hotel. (B,-,-)

Llanganuco – Santa Cruz Trekking (4 days / 3 nights): Huaraz – Cashapampa – Llamacorral (3,700 m). Private bus trip to Cashapampa. Start of the trek with pack animals along the pre-Inca trail towards Callejón de Conchucos. Camp. (B, L, D)

Llamacorral – Taullipampa (4,200 m): Continuation of the trek. Possibility of visiting the Alpamayo base camp and meeting climbers. Camp in Taullipampa. (B, L, D)

Taullipampa – Union Pass (4,750 m) – Paria Valley (3,900 m). Camp. (B, L, D)

Paria Valley – Huaripampa – Vaqueria (3,700 m): Walk to Vaqueria. Bus to the Portachuelo pass (4,760 m). Descent to the Llanganuco valley, passing by turquoise lagoons. Arrival in Yungay and in the afternoon to Huaraz. Hotel. (B, L)

Huaraz – Lima: Trip by scheduled bus to Lima. Or transfer to Anta airport. International flight connections or transfer to the Hotel in Lima. (B) or connection to another program.

Lima: Transfer to the airport in case of travel by bus. End of our services.

The program includes:

Transfers and Accommodation

• Transfers: Inbound and outbound transfers (Airport/Hotel) as stipulated in the final program.
• Lima: 02 nights in a hotel (3* category) based on double rooms with private bathroom and continental breakfast.
• Lodge Accommodation: Stay in the selected lodge in a double room.
• Huaraz: Hotels of 2* to 3* standard category, according to the program, in double rooms with private bathroom and breakfast.
• Note on accommodation: Single rooms will only be provided upon client request and prior agreement on the additional cost.

Transportation and Logistics

• Transportation: Route Lima – Huaraz – Lima by scheduled bus.
• Local Transportation: Transfer and return from the hotel to the starting points of the trekking routes by private bus.
• Permits: Entrance tickets to the trekking circuits and management of all necessary permits.

Tours and Activities

• Trekking: Guided expeditions according to the itinerary.
• Cultural Tours: Historical and cultural excursions detailed in the program.

Expedition Personnel and Equipment

• Specialized Personnel: Permanent assistance from a certified guide or Tour Leader, cook, and kitchen assistant (depending on group size).
• Cargo Logistics: Muleteers and mules (or llamas) for equipment transport. A maximum of 12 kg of personal luggage per passenger to be carried by the animals is recommended.
• Personal Camping Equipment: Tents with capacity for two people and mats for the camps.
• Collective Camping Equipment: Kitchen tent, dining tent, and toilet tent; plus complete utensils (plates, cups, cutlery), kitchen tools, fuel, and packing boxes.

Meals and Safety

• Meals on Route: Full board during trekking days (B = Breakfast, L/BL = Lunch or Box Lunch, D = Dinner).
• Health and Safety: Basic first aid kit and medicinal oxygen tank for mountain emergencies. Satellite phone.
